No More Lost

Are you always looking for your key or others that you use often? You use them everyday, but cannot find them each time when you want them. Chu Wang Designed a key control called Finder. I think this will help to find your stuff.

Finder is a two-part RFID Locator comprising of the main terminal and tab stickers. Basically you are supposed to stick the tracking stickers to objects that you tend to misplace often, like keys, phone, wallet etc. Configure the sticker with the appropriate label on the main terminal and you are set to use it. When you look for something, just type the name and then you will find it.

  1. Hmmm.... are you sure? How does Finder work? If I lose the item in one location and am in another location (say 10 miles away) when I am trying to find it, does it still work? Or is it more like calling your phone to try and find it? If you're in the same room, you'll hear it ring and know where it is.

  2. Judging by the size of the sticker, the detection range wouldn't be more than a couple of meters.

Then again thats more than enough if you lost your keys at home.

Cool design, nevertheless. I like the transparent display. How marketable will that be is another question, keeping in mind how many other inexpensive key finders are out there.
